Why a No/Low Carb Diet is Bad!
So I know many of you out there are looking for information regarding a low to no carb diet. Well here you’re going to find the best information about it! Let me start by saying IT IS A TERRIBLE IDEA!
You may be thinking… “Oh but I thought carbs make me gain weight? or I though carbs make me fat?”
Im here to clear up all of those misconceptions….
First off, if you abuse any macronutrient, you will gain weight. Now what I mean is if you eat an excess of protein, or an excess of fats, or an excess of carbs, or an excess of anything YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT!
CARBS ARE NOT THE ENEMY!
In fact, how do you think your body is able to function? Do you think it just goes on its own?
So have you ever decided to workout on an empty stomach?
Have you ever avoided carbs throughout the day, week, month?
Well if you answered YES to any of those questions, then you probably felt fatigued, tired, angry, short tempered and hungry during that time, right?
Thats because carbohydrates are the macronutrients that provide energy for your body.
During a workout, your body needs to use energy in order to complete the exercises. So if your body doesn’t have enough carbs for energy, it is going to start targeting the fat storage… Now you may be saying, oh this is good i can loose weight! WRONG! After the fat is used up in the adispose tissue it is going to start targeting your muscles. So when you workout without eating proper, you’re actually doing your body more harm…
When you workout, you break down muscle. So you need proper nutrition to help build up that muscle. That is why you need Carbs and Protein and Fats at a well balanced amount in order to see the most success..
